Jess, here’s an analogy:
Let’s say you have 10 friends. One of them is kinda iffy, but the other 9 are solid. You throw a party. You expect all 10 friends to show up, but you’d be ok with only 9 guests because, well, the iffy one. On the day of the party, only 8 show up. You wouldn’t want to know why that 9th (and maybe even the 10th) friend disregarded your invite? Even though the other 8 held up? Of course you would. Did the iffy friend say something? Was it something else?? You’d want to know because if you don’t, you risk the reality of it being only 7, or 6 next time, even though technically you still have a majority of your friends left. Make sense??
